CALL TO ORDER

Adoption of Agenda

• That the agenda be adopted as presented.

As per Ministerial Order from the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General

• That members of the public are not permitted to physically attend the March 4, 2021 meeting of the Solid Waste Management Committee due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As per Ministerial Order from the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General the Regional District cannot, at this time, ensure the safety of staff, Committee members, and members of the public in such circumstances.  Despite this, for the purposes of Division 3 of Part 4 of the Community Charter, the meeting is not to be considered closed to the public.

  Openness, transparency, accessibility, and accountability, in respect of this meeting, will be achieved by the open publishing of the minutes.

REPORTS AND CORRESPONDENCE

Status on the Solid Waste Management Plan Update

(The SWAC membership list contained within this report was revised at late publishing)

• That the agenda item summary from Tera Grady, Supervisor of Solid Waste Management, dated February 24, 2021, regarding the status of the Solid Waste Management Plan update, be received.

ADJOURNMENT

• That the meeting of the Solid Waste Management Committee be adjourned at TIME, March 4, 2021.
