    That members of the public are not permitted to physically attend the May 26, 2021 meeting of the Central Cariboo Rural Directors Caucus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As per Ministerial Order from the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General the Regional District cannot, at this time, ensure the safety of staff, Caucus members, and members of the public in such circumstances.  Despite this, for the purposes of Division 3 of Part 4 of the Community Charter, the meeting is not to be considered closed to the public.

    Openness, transparency, accessibility, and accountability, in respect of this meeting, will be achieved by the open publishing of the minutes.

Janis Breck from the Canadian Mental Health Association, joined the meeting to provide an update on CMHA’s activities in the Central Cariboo.

Director Forseth joined the meeting during this presentation.

Silvia Dubray, City of Williams Lake Community Well-Being & Safety Coordinator, joined the meeting to provide an update on the Community Well-Being Safety Plan.
