As per Ministerial Order from the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General the Regional District cannot, at this time, ensure the safety of staff, Board members, and members of the public in such circumstances.  Despite this, for the purposes of Division 3 of Part 4 of the Community Charter, the meeting is not to be considered closed to the public.

    Openness, transparency, accessibility, and accountability, in respect of this meeting, will be achieved by the open publishing of the minutes.

Further, that Regional District purchasing policy 2017-11-13 be waived and the contract be awarded to Waddington Charter and Contracting Ltd based on the received equipment rental rates proposal at an estimated total cost of $174,259 plus applicable taxes and that the appropriate signatories be authorized to execute the necessary agreement.
