CALL TO ORDER - ELECTION OF CHAIR FOR 2020

The meeting was called to order at 3:05 p.m.

First Call by CAO J. MacLean for nominations for the position of Chair of the North Cariboo Rural Directors Caucus.

Director Massier nominated Director Sjostrom for the position of Chair of the North Cariboo Rural Directors Caucus. Director Sjostrom accepted the nomination.

Second call and third call by CAO J. MacLean for nominations for the position of Chair of the North Cariboo Rural Directors Caucus.

There being no further nominations, CAO J. MacLean declared nominations closed and declared Director Sjostrom Chair of the North Cariboo Rural Directors Caucus for 2020.

Further, that Director Jim Glassford be appointed as Co-Chair of the North Cariboo Joint Committee for 2020.

North Cariboo Agricultural Development Advisory Committee - Budget Allocation Request

  That the letter from the North Cariboo Agricultural Development Advisory Committee, dated January 2, 2020, be received.  Further, that the remaining 2019 funds in the ADAC account be rolled over into the 2020 budget as requested.

City of Quesnel Request – Trail Development

  That the agenda item summary from Lore Schick, Deputy Corporate Officer/Executive Assistant, dated January 9, 2019, regarding a request from the City of Quesnel to consider funding a trail plan for the interconnector trail between the Dragon Mountain and Wonderland trail networks, be received. Further, that a recommendation be made to the North Cariboo Joint Planning Committee that the Cariboo Strong grant funding previously approved for hosting the annual snowball tournament be reallocated towards the trail development project in the amount of $7,000.

Further, that staff work with the Directors in scheduling the 2020 North Cariboo Info Fair to be held in Electoral Area B (10 Mile Lake).
