  • That the agenda be adopted as presented.

  • ​That the minutes of the South Cariboo Joint Committee meeting, held August 16, 2018, be received and adopted.

Rick Tkagi, on behalf of the 100 Mile House Wranglers, will appear before the Committee to discuss contract issues.

  • That the agenda item summary from Tera Grady, Supervisor of Solid Waste Management, dated July 17, 2018, regarding a joint Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 108 Mile Ranch and the District of 100 Mile House curbside garbage and recycling collection and disposal contracts, be received.

    Further, that an RFP be issued jointly by the Cariboo Regional District and the District of 100 Mile House in 2019, for curbside garbage and recycling collection and disposal for the 108 Mile Ranch and the District of 100 Mile House.

    Further, that the RFP stipulate that the successful Contractor shall enter into separate agreements with each local government.

  • That the agenda item summary from Tera Grady, Supervisor of Solid Waste Management, dated July 19, 2018, regarding an update on EPR collection from south Cariboo refuse sites, be received.

(Deferred at the June 11th SC Joint Committee meeting)

  • That the agenda item summary from Tera Grady, Supervisor of Solid Waste Management, dated June 6, 2018, regarding the South Cariboo Solid Waste function, be received. Further, that the South Cariboo Solid Waste Function be combined with the Rural Refuse function starting with the 2019 budget.

(North Cariboo Joint Committee resolution referred to South Cariboo Joint Committee by CRD Board.)

  • That the following recommendation as referred by the CRD Board at its meeting on July 13, 2018, be received.

    That the following recommendation, from the North Cariboo Joint Committee meeting held on July 10, 2018 be referred to the South Cariboo Joint and Central Cariboo Joint Committees:

    That $10,000 in Cariboo Strong funds be allocated towards the development of a recognition concept appropriate to the site of the hanging of the Tsilhqot’in chiefs.

    Further action at the discretion of the Committee.
