  • That the agenda be adopted as presented.

Representatives of Rail Ties Be Wise will appear before the Committee to discuss the burning of rail ties at the biomass plant in Williams Lake.

Janna and Chrissie Gertzen, Marketing & Sponsorship Directors for the Williams Lake Stampeders, will appear before the Committee to discuss gym and pool passes for the team.

  • That the letter from Janna Gertzen, Marketing & Sponsorship Director with the Williams Lake Stampeders Hockey Club, dated April 9, 2019, requesting a donation of passes for team players during the 2019-2020 hockey season, be received.  Further action at the discretion of the Committee.

  • That the 1st Quarter of 2019 Report for the Central Cariboo Arts and Culture Society, be received.

Ratification required by CRD

  • That the report from Geoff Paynton, Director of Community Services, City of Williams Lake, dated April 8, 2019, regarding the 2020-2023 Fees and Charges for the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex, be received.  Further, that the Central Cariboo Recreation Fees and Charges Bylaw be amended to include the proposed fees and charges, proposed fees and charges definitions, proposed rink board advertising fees, and proposed Active Living Guide advertising rates, as attached.

  • That the report from Director S. Forseth, dated April 15, 2019, regarding the development of a new comprehensive Airshed Management Plan, be received.  Further action at the discretion of the Committee.

  • That the "Short History of Air Quality and Community Health Controversies in Williams Lake, BC" and draft letter to the Minister of Energy and Mines and Petroleum Resources, submitted by Rail Ties Be Wise, be received.  Further action at the discretion of the Committee.

  • That the Action Page as presented at the Central Cariboo Joint Committee meeting on April 24, 2019, be received.

  • That the meeting of the Central Cariboo Joint Committee be adjourned at TIME, April 24, 2019.
