    That the minutes of the Central Cariboo Joint Committee meeting, held March 28, 2018, be received and adopted.

Jay Morrison, Senior Public Affairs Advisor, and Emma Shea, Community and Indigenous Engagement Consultant, from Enbridge Inc., appeared before the Committee to provide an update on proposed projects in the Central Cariboo.

    That the Power Point presentation provided by Jay Morrison, Enbridge Senior Advisor Community Affairs, be received.  Further, that the City of Williams Lake and the Cariboo Regional District go on record as being in support of Enbridge undertaking equipment enhancements and a compressor replacement at Compressor Station 6A near 150 Mile House.

Michael Kidston, President of the Mt. Timothy Ski Society, appeared before the Committee to discuss funding support for the Society.

    That the information relating to the Mt. Timothy ski area, provided by the Mt. Timothy Ski Society, and letter addressed to the City of Williams Lake, dated February 15, 2018, requesting a Grant in Aid, be received.

    That the email dated February 8, 2018, from the Central Cariboo Arts & Culture Society, regarding the first round of Support Grants awards, be received.

    That the Cariboo Regional District partner with the Bull Mountain Ski Club to submit a Special Circumstances grant application to the Rural Dividend Fund for a maintenance shed, and that the City of Williams Lake provide a letter of support for the application.

    That representatives from the Williams Lake Minor Hockey Association be invited to attend a Central Cariboo Joint Committee meeting, to discuss the April 17th Williams Lake Tribune article, which noted that the association is unhappy with treatment it has received from the City of Williams Lake in regard to the use of the Cariboo Memorial Complex.  Further, that Central Cariboo Joint Committee members be provided with a copy of the article.
