• That the memorandum from Lore Schick, Deputy Corporate Officer/Executive Assistant dated July 7, 2023, regarding the Allocation of Remaining Growing Communities Fund, be received.

Update on Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) Process and Timeline to the End of the Year

• That the memorandum from Tera Grady, Manager of Solid Waste dated July 12, 2023, regarding the Update on Solid Waste Management Plan Process and Timeline to the End of Year, be received.

DELEGATIONS/GUESTS

4.1

10:00 a.m. Delegation - Mount Polley Mining Corporation

Matt O'Leary will provide an update on the Mount Polley project and the status of remediation in the areas affected by the tailings dam failure in 2014.

11:00 a.m. Delegation - Ministry of Forest Lands and Natural Resource Operations

Josh Pressey, Regional Executive Director, Lindsey Wood, Strategic Initiatives Director, Harold Stolar, District Manager, Sarah Szatmari, Acting District Manager and Ian Hannah, District Manager will provide an update on process and what the Ministry of Forest expects in the Cariboo region.

1:00 p.m. Delegation - Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure

Sandi Griffiths, District Manager, Transportation will provide an update on major projects, MOTI's role in rural areas and staffing updates in the Cariboo region.
