  • That the agenda be adopted as presented.

  • That members of the public are not permitted to physically attend the June 10, 2021 meeting of the South Cariboo Joint Committee due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As per Ministerial Order from the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General the Regional District cannot, at this time, ensure the safety of staff, Committee members, and members of the public in such circumstances.  Despite this, for the purposes of Division 3 of Part 4 of the Community Charter, the meeting is not to be considered closed to the public.

    Openness, transparency, accessibility, and accountability, in respect of this meeting, will be achieved by the open publishing of the minutes.

  • ​That the minutes of the South Cariboo Joint Committee meeting, held April 15, 2021, be received and adopted.

  • That the letter from Gordon Smith, President of the 100 Mile House Curling Club, dated April 9, 2021, including a five-year plan and report on the Club's activities and achievements for the 2020-2021 curling season, be received.

By Consensus

  • That the agenda item summary from Darron Campbell, Manager of Community Services, dated June 4, 2021, regarding an amendment to the South Cariboo Recreation function 2021 financial plan to enable remediation work at the South Cariboo Recreation Centre, be received. Further, that $60,000 be allocated for this work and that the transfer to capital reserves for 2021 be reduced as necessary to accommodate this cost.

  • ​That the meeting of the South Cariboo Joint Committee be adjourned at TIME, June 10, 2021.
